Buying & licences
What do I get when I buy a plugin?
A download of the plugin, a licence for one site, and a year of updates and support directly from me. Your download link is in your order confirmation email and in your account under Downloads.
Is it a one-off payment or a subscription?
Paid licences are annual. They renew automatically so your updates and support don’t lapse, and you can turn off auto-renewal at any time from your account. You keep everything until the end of the period you’ve paid for.
Can I use a plugin on more than one site?
Each licence covers one live site. Staging and development copies of that site are included, so you can test safely. If you need it on several sites, get in touch.
Can I move my licence to a different site?
Yes. If you’re moving to a new domain or rebuilding, let me know and I’ll move the licence across.
What happens if I don't renew?
The plugin keeps working on your site. You just stop receiving updates and support. You can renew at any time to pick them up again.
How do I pay?
By card through Stripe, or by Direct Debit through GoCardless. Payment details go straight to them and are never stored on this site. Prices are in pounds sterling.
Do prices include VAT?
I’m not VAT registered, so there’s no VAT to add. The price you see is the price you pay.
Refunds & renewals
What's your refund policy?
Every first purchase of a paid plugin comes with a 30-day, full-refund guarantee. Email me within 30 days and you’ll get your money back. No reason needed, though it helps me to know what didn’t work.
Full details are in the Refund & Returns policy.
I forgot to cancel and my licence renewed. Can I get a refund?
Tell me within 14 days of the renewal date and I’ll refund it in full. To stop it happening again, turn off auto-renewal in your account.
How do I ask for a refund?
Email [email protected] with your order number (or the email you used at checkout) and the plugin. I reply within 2 working days, and refunds usually reach your account within 5–10 working days.
Are free plugins covered?
No, because there’s nothing to refund. Support questions about free plugins are still welcome.
Support & updates
How do I get support?
Use the contact form or email [email protected]. Every message comes to me, the developer who wrote the plugin, not a ticket queue. I reply within 2 working days during UK working hours, usually much sooner.
What does support cover?
Bug reports, anything not working as described, help installing and setting up, and questions about how features work. It doesn’t cover custom development or problems caused by modified plugin code.
How do updates work?
While your licence is active you get compatibility updates for new WordPress and WooCommerce releases, bug fixes, security patches and improvements. The latest version is always available in your account.
Can you customise a plugin for my site?
Yes. If a plugin does almost what you need, or you need something built from scratch, my development consultancy Baltic Design takes on custom WooCommerce work. Tell me what you need and I’ll quote.
Compatibility
Will it work with my theme and hosting?
The plugins are built on WordPress and WooCommerce’s own APIs, so they work with most well-built themes and hosting. Minimum requirements are listed on each plugin’s page.
Every site is different, though. If you’re unsure, ask before you buy, and if you hit a conflict after buying, I’ll do what I reasonably can to fix it. You’re covered by the 30-day refund either way.
Do I need WooCommerce?
It depends on the plugin. Product Terms Gate is a WooCommerce plugin, so it needs WooCommerce. Bulk Media Uploader‘s core features work on any WordPress site, and WooCommerce unlocks product gallery integration. Each plugin’s page lists its requirements.
Should I back up before installing?
Yes, and I’d say that about any plugin. Keep a recent backup and test on a staging copy first, especially with anything that changes or removes media. It’s why Media Prune Pro quarantines files before anything is deleted.
Privacy
Do your plugins collect data from my site?
No. My plugins don’t collect personal data about you, your customers or your visitors, and don’t send it to me. If that ever changes, it’ll be opt-in and I’ll update my privacy policy first.
What do you do with my details when I buy?
Only what’s needed to process your order, deliver your licence and support you. It’s never sold or shared for marketing. The Privacy Policy has the details, including how to get a copy of your data or have it deleted.
Still not sure?
Ask before you buy. If a plugin won't do what you need, I'll tell you.
