The developer behind the plugins.
I'm Dan Cotugno-Cregin. I've been building for the web since 2001, running Baltic Design since 2009 and looking after WooCommerce stores since 2012. Baltic Digital is where the tools I build for those stores get packaged up for everyone else.

Every plugin starts as a problem on a real store.
I don't sit down and invent products. I maintain WooCommerce stores for clients, some of them for over a decade, and when the same problem keeps costing a store time or money, I build the fix. The client gets it first. It runs in production, on real catalogues and real customers, until it's proven. Only then does it get cleaned up, documented and released here.
Built for a client
Paid work, solving a real problem on a live store, not a feature someone guessed people might want.
Proven in production
Real traffic, real orders and real edge cases. Media Prune Pro was tested on a store with over 250,000 media files.
Released here
Hardened, documented and supported as a product, and still running on the store it was built for.
Small plugins. Done properly.
One job, done well
Each plugin solves one problem. No dashboards full of upsells and no features you'll never use.
Safe by default
Review steps, quarantines and restore buttons. Anything that touches your data shows you what it will do before it does it.
Plays by WordPress rules
Built on WordPress and WooCommerce's own APIs and hooks, so it keeps working through updates and alongside the rest of your stack.
Supported by the person who wrote it
Support questions come to me. Not a ticket queue, not a chatbot, not a third party reading from a script.
Hi, I'm Dan.
I started as a web designer at Sage in 2001. Since then I've built sports news platforms and worked on online betting and casino software, the kind of high-traffic, high-stakes systems where downtime costs real money and sloppy code gets found out fast.
In 2009 I started Baltic Design, a WordPress and WooCommerce consultancy based in Gateshead. Some of my clients have been with me for over a decade, and the stores I look after for them are where every Baltic Digital plugin begins.
These days I build WooCommerce plugins, integrations and bespoke web applications, to the same standard whether it's a £49 plugin or a full custom build. My wife Daria runs operations, so orders, invoices and account questions get answered too.
The honest trade-off
What you get- A direct line to the developer who wrote the code.
- Fixes that ship quickly, because I run these plugins on stores I maintain and find most bugs before you do.
- No investors, no acquisition, no sudden sunset. I've been trading since 2009.
- A 24/7 call centre. Support is by email, during UK working hours.
- Everything to everyone. If a plugin doesn't do something you need, I'll tell you before you buy.
What clients say about working with me.
Google reviews of Baltic Design, my development consultancy.
“I've worked with many developers over the years but Dan is by far the most gifted. With skills ranging from web design to in depth security measures and server configuration, his problem solving ability is second to none.”
Paul Briggs“He rebuilt our wordpress (back-end) website and amalgamated 2 catalogue sites (magento) to woo-commerce to integrate with our wordpress (main) site. Now its a case of monthly maintenance to keep our website up and running…”

If none of the plugins here fit, Baltic Design builds WooCommerce stores, custom plugins and integrations to order. Same developer, same standards.
